Any advice on a persistent ear infection??

Our 9 year old has had a persistent and severe ear infection for 2-3 months now and we are just struggling. It’s only susceptible to one antibiotic and we’ve done two full rounds that cost us $400 each time. Also, ear drops and prednisone. We’ve had multiple vet visits and have gone to different clinics. We have paid over $3000 so far.

The last vet we saw recommended a dermatology vet so that is our next stop. But I’m not even sure what they do if the only antibiotic that it’s susceptible to isn’t working??

We are pretty desperate at this point and our poor basset is struggling.

Is there something we can be doing?? We are cleaning it out every night with a RX wash.

Need recommendations

Hello to anyone that give ideas or recommendations, I have an almost year and half basset and have been dealing with constant itching use to make homemade food but stopped cuz not sure what was making him itch I’ve ready many articles about yeast , have boughten him chew to help nothing seems to be working any advice would greatly be appreciated thank you

My newly acquired BassetHound

My newly acquired BassetHound

I recently acquired this very sweet and surprisingly energetic 3 year old basset hound and I was wondering if anybody had good training tips. She doesn’t listen very well, she is potty trained and will sit on command but doesn’t seem to listen well ( I know it’s common for her breed) but I would like to train her to listen a bit better if anyone has tips for me!
