Basset Hounds for You

I took care of this wonderful family in May-June. I spent the weekdays looking after everyone until their human got home from work. The last picture is the last time I was with them, and I miss them all very much.

My sweet stinky 7 year old boy seems to have a more pungent yeasty smell to him than normal. He catches a bath regularly and goes to the groomer once a month. He was at the groomer Wednesday the 11th and he’s already back to smelling like a bag of Fritos today Friday the 13th. He’s been on the same food (Rachael Ray) for the last couple of years.. I’m starting to question the food and wonder if anyone else has run into a similar issue? If so, did you switch food and what brand did you go with?

Hi! My husband and I are going to be relocating to Mexico City next year and will need to fly our 2 yr old basset hound with us. I have been doing lots of research on regulations and requirements but am stumped on picking a good travel crate. There are soo many companies and conflicting reviews online it’s hard to make a good decision. I want to make sure my baby girl is in the best crate possible. Does anyone have any experience with international flights with dogs or travel crate recommendations? Thanks!

So this little shit head is Willow. She’s about a year and a half and she is a bird MURDERER!! I’m not sure what started it but we have chickens, and if she gets the chance, she will rip them limb from limb. We (had) about 30 bird in our coop and this little shit stain broke in and it took my neighbor jumping over our fence and threatening her with a stick before she stopped. We lost about 9. That and her favorite hobby is stalking the dove and pigeon population that lands in the yard.(yes she has caught and ate several). I just can’t deal with it anymore. She is costing us so much fucking money. Not just the cost of the birds but part of our income is selling farm fresh eggs to my wife and I’s coworkers. We feed her without fail, sneak her snacks when our other dogs aren’t looking… I just don’t know know what to do anymore. I can’t get rid of her because she was my wife’s bday gift last year but we can’t just keep buying new birds to offset her crusade against poultry. Any advice is greatly appreciated
