Our Roscoe was the inspiration for Roger, a supporting character and one of two Bassett hounds, in my wife’s most recent romance novel, Lark Lake Lodge. (🌶️🌶️🌶️ out of 5 spiciness). (I fear that Roger’s personality will cause a run on the breed and we’ll not be able to welcome another of these wily waddlers into our lives.)

Hey everyone! Brucey starts daycare tomorrow! He needs to bring his lunch and a spare coat/hoodie. I don’t know if they have a hook for each dog or what… But I kind of feel like a little backpack makes sense. Am I that dog mom?? What does everyone else use for daycare stuff that goes to and from?
