Meet Ozzy, this was taken two months ago, he is now 6 months old.

Hello everyone. My boy is now 3 months and he is in his chewing phase. We have gotten him pig ears, plenty of toys, he loves to play fetch, but he’s started to attempt to chew on the hardwood floor, chair legs, his bed, blankets, and he even goes after my slippers while I’m wearing them and yes it’s cute but he tries to trip me and he even goes for my Achilles heel which does not feel good. I try and put his attention elsewhere but he gets even more excited. He loves to chase his cat siblings and I’ll run so he can chase me. But the chewing I’m afraid he’ll mess up his little baby teeth! Pic of the chewing baby for tax, currently healing from an enucleation.

Just got our pup last week! He’s a Basset/Doberman mix, 13 weeks old! He’s such a good boy until we leave him home alone in his crate… he’s definitely found his bark!!

Just adopted this absolute bebesito of a Basset Hound puppy! We named her Penny Lane (like Penny Lane by The Beatles)! We adopted her from a cousin whose husband didn’t want a dog in the house. We’ve had her for about a day, so far.

This is the first time I have ever trained a puppy and I am wondering if anybody has some pointers or advice. She already follows me around everywhere and is pretty energetic. We bought her the basics: dry food (for now), treats, toys/chew toys (she’s currently teething too), ear and eye wipes, and toothbrush & paste, going to buy a bigger bed too.

She doesn’t go potty outside when we walk her and instead goes on the training pads (or whatever they’re called lol). It seems like the previous owner gave her some training as she understands sit and doesn’t pull on the leash (too much) during walks.

My wife and I just went to a painting class and obviously we painted our bassets. It’s the only logical choice. But we are stoked with the results and I just wanted to share! First photos are of our paintings and the other are of the pups for reference. How’d we do?!
