My husband got his Bassett hound before we met. He is attached to only him and is relentless when they are separated. If my husband goes outside to do yard work and the dog knows he is home he will pee on the floor almost immediately, even if he was just outside. I could live with him only liking one person but he is almost 9 and we had a medical work up and the vet said it was behavioral. Am I going to be cleaning up piss for the rest of my life? Anyone had a similar experience with this breed?
