Who said bassets are lazy?

I just want to talk 😂😂. My almost 5 month old has loads of energy that can’t be worked out of him for anything. Big walks, dog park trips, sniffs around the property and so on do nothing for him so I just wanna know where whoever started that lie is so they can get a look at an actual basset hound 😂😂
