Basset Hounds for your pleasure
Georgia girl here is almost 5 years old and has been peeing in the house daily since day 1. When we moved to our new house 2 years ago, we figured it would be alleviated because we have a fenced-in backyard and a doggy door out to it. While she uses the door constantly and the problem has improved, she still pees in the house every night (too lazy to go downstairs in the middle of her deep bass snooze, I think) and anytime of the day if it’s even slightly raining. She doesn’t poop though and she has a big brother (pitty mix) role model who NEVER goes in the house.
Crate training is kind of out of the question because 1.) I’m 95% sure she’d pee in that, resulting in both her and the crate needing a bath, and 2.) she would whine so loudly that none of the house would sleep. I’d also consider a doggy diaper, but I think she could get it off.
We are so fed up with daily steam cleans and lingering smells. Tips? Advice?

Good morning! I’d like to share our new puppy with everyone. Her name is Lainey and she traveled cross country to get to us! She’s the sweetest girl!

Took the Abarth this time since the Spider is in the shop waiting parts. Daisy did better this time since I secured the towel down so she wasn’t sliding on the seats. 1st coffee, then a paw-dicure before we hit the park. She did good off leash until she saw a squirrel, then game on. She did stop at the treeline and contemplated before trotting back to me.

My hound got his own kitty friends, for being such a good uncle to the other kitties.
