We just adopted this 15-year-old lady! She’s been absolutely wonderful. She’s very active for her age, but we do realize she’s old. We are looking for a backpack we could put her in when she doesn’t want to walk anymore. Any advice? We are also looking for the best Food/water bowl situation. Our two other dogs have a neater feeder that’s raised up so they don’t have to bend down so far. Wondering if there are similar ones for Bassetts! Thank you!

Mr. Dr. Watson had his annual checkup and we discussed his peeing inside if left alone. The Dr. recommend Xanax for anxiety. I’ve only ever heard horror stories about people and Xanax addiction. Have any of you given their basset Xanax?

Here’s my Sam. He’s a year and 4 months old. I’m looking for a good harness for basset hounds. What have you found that works for yours? What we’ve tried so far hasn’t fit right and just slides right down his long body. Thanks!
