It’s crazy! We don’t truly realize how much he has grown since we first got him until we look at the pictures. You can tell he has also gotten much more confident as he’s grown. Happy to see our boy getting big and strong!!

Duke is officially a part of our family now. He’s our first pup since we became Empty Nesters in 2018. He looks and sounds just like a Basset Hound, but I think he’s a tiny Raptor.

She was such a good girl. She was very happy, I swear, she just looks mad in the picture 😂

I have a 4 year old bassst hound with my fiance and we are going to be adopting/ rescuing a second that is 3 years old. We unfortunately won’t have the chance to do a typical meet and greet prior to him actually being ours. We are looking for tips on how to make the transition easier for both of them. For our current basset adjusting to living with another dog (she has only been a single dog, but absolutely loves all my friends/ families dogs, gets along great at the dog park, etc), but also for a new dog who has been given up by his owner, currently in a foster home, then coming into our home. Would love to hear other people’s experience and any advice! Thank you in advance!

Brucey Goosey went to school today and came up pretty shaken up and with some scratches/bumps on his head. I emailed daycare to see what happened – as the young guy who brought him out to me only said “Everyone loves him! Well, maybe some friends love him a little too much…”
I hadn’t noticed the scratches til we go home, so in the moment I laughed it off. The daycare answered me just now and said that there were a few big dogs who kept trying to jump him. 😩
