Anyone have any experience with their basset hound and Valley Fever?

My sweet boy recently was diagnosed with Valley Fever and I was wondering if anyone has had personal experience with it. He is on a steroid and the fungal medication that the vet prescribed to him and seems to be recovering quite well however I was wondering if anyone has dealt with it and if their doggo had any lingering side effects from the illness.
