Said goodbye to Ophelia today. I’m heartbroken.

Ophelia was 13.5 years old. She was an amazingly sweet and loving dog. She was instant besties with everyone and never met a stranger. She was clever and beautiful and funny. I’ll miss her sweet face and kind soul for the rest of my life. The world is a little brighter for having had her in it. I’m sober now for over 6 months; this is testing my resolve, but I have to be strong to make her proud. I loved her so much.
