Brucey Tries: Houseplanting

(a very serious training guide by me, Bruce Goose)

Step 1: Bring the little shovel inside. Mama will say, “No, not inside!” but she is wrong.

Step 2: Convince Mama to take you to the dirt store. She calls it the “hardware store,” but I call it HEAVEN (they have treats there).

Step 3: Sniff ALL the dirt. You must inspect every scoop. This is very important for quality control.

Step 4: Watch Mama plant things. Stare directly at her face so she does a good job.

Important Brucey Rule: Do not eat the crunchy leaves. Mama gets loud. Mama says “BRUCEY NO” with her serious voice.

10/10 would try again.

The grief never ends

I miss both of my boys very much. I am considering adopting a basset from a rescue, but I can’t help but feel guilty. I know I could never replace the boys and I know I wouldn’t be by opening my heart up to a new pup, but it still feels wrong?

Absolute menace

I love my basset to death and I would die for them and I recently just got another one he’s 8 months she’s two months he has been acting out since she came home. He got into stuff as normal puppy would, but I just the amount of times that he’s almost accidentally killed himself because now he can jump up on the tables, even if they’re high up he loves everything he’s not supposed to have especially chocolate. I feel like a failure as a mom. I have everything gated off, but the living room in the hallway and when I do put stuff in that room, I put it a higher up, but now he’s gotten so tall any advice
