Eating junk

We are picking up our basset puppy on Sunday. She is 10 weeks old. What can I expect from her as far as simply tearing things up or actually eating said things? We have another dog ( not basset) who doesn’t just pull things apart but eats/ingests all kinds of stuff if we are not VERY watchful!

COPPER IS CANCER FREE!!

So due to some unfortunate circumstances I ended up in the hospital and can’t be with Copper today, hence no pictures. But my mom texted me after his surgery and he is cancer free. I’m so grateful to the vets who were able to help my old man and I’m also grateful to everyone who has given us encouragement throughout this time period. When I’m out of the hospital I’ll be able to go visit Copper and spend time with him. I’ll include a video I got of him last time I was with Copper. This has been stressful and I’m very glad it’s over.

New here

Hey everyone! I’m new to this thread. My husband and I had a basset hound at the beginning of our marriage, which was 40 years ago now. We got her from a breeder who was selling her because she was not good in the show ring (if you can imagine that😆). She was beautiful, but the most stubborn dog we have ever ever had. Since then, we haven’t had any bassets and I’ve always wanted to get another. We had adopted her when she was a young adult. Now we are about to go pick up our first Bassett puppy! This Sunday we will pick her up and so I am looking for suggestions. Been alo Bassett puppy! This Sunday we will pick her up and so I am looking for suggestions. So looking for house training tips and any other tips you care to give me about raising a basset puppy. Thank you in advance!
