Basset Hounds for You

My son who is a typically sized 7 year old wants to be a basset hound for Halloween. Does any one know of a costume that will fit his size? When he told me what he wanted to be for Halloween, he immediately went and laid on our basset and hugged him.

We have a 3-year-old, purebred basset hound. She still pees in the house. We let her outside often (we have an invisible fence). She also gets up three or four times in the middle of the night. We do not crate her. My wife is about ready to go crazy. Any suggestions to help us?

We are about to pull our hair out. I know Bassets pee often and can be difficult to potty train, but our 4 month old puppy is peeing every 10 to 15 minutes and taking her out that often is just about impossible. Anybody have any insight?

For context my little girl will be 2 in September, and I have never had an intact female before. All of my other females have been spayed. What are the signs to keep watch out for in order to keep the male dogs away from her when she starts her cycle? When she does come into heat, I will get her some doggy diapers to help with unwanted discharge and also if a male does get into my fenced in yard where she is while going to potty. I do let her stay outside by herself during the morning, just to let her get some fresh air and exercise. I do plan on breeding her, but not right now. I need to have her umbilical hernia fixed before she gets bread to keep her safe and no risk ot her health. Any advice will be appreciated
