How soon is too soon to pick up a puppy?
A friend of a friendās Basset momma just had puppies. They donāt plan to keep breedingāthis is one and done.
We want 12-14 weeks so that the puppy could grow into her back and hips, but the (one time) breeder is saying sheās almost done at 6-7 weeksā¦
Is it cruel to go ahead and pick her up at about 8 weeks?
