Basset Hounds for You

Hi everyone!

I tried searching in this group for any posts about this, but didn’t find what I was looking for. Our basset is a 3 year old silly/active girl who gets into things because she is just following her nose and left to her own devices. I want to be able to get more of this energy out and sort of help get out any of the instinctual things she has as a basset hound. She will literally walk past the same thing every day and one day it catches her nose and she has to have it apparently lol.

Do you guys have any tips and tricks to help get your basset noses working in a way, so they don’t seek out other things (RIP my AirPods case – the most recent victim of Eleanor’s drive).
