help with my puppy basshole

I’ve gotten my pup about 1 week and a half ago, he’s 13 weeks old (3 months) and lord, this little guy is a satanic creature, I’ve owned 2 bassets before him but while they were playful and sometimes mischievous as puppies they didn’t have quite as much energy as him. It’s so hard to put him to sleep because he goes full tasmanian devil mode and I’ve been trying different things (sticking to a routine, relaxing music, treats, holding him in my lap to lull him to sleep) nothing works 😭 please send tips cause he is a huge basshole or at least tell me it gets better cause this is a first for me

Swollen runny nose

I’m thinking she bumped her snoot while playing today but I wanted to see if anyone had similar problems or issues with their basset hound puppy She’s acting a little more lethargic than she normally would and is sitting near me like she may be uncomfortable. We have a vet appointment tomorrow for shots, so we’ll definitely have them Take a look while she’s there.

Looking to belong

Hey everyone, my name is Heidi. My mom was a purebred Rottweiler and I was the runt of the litter. I was pushed out and my human mom stepped in and bottle fed me and spoiled me to pieces. I’ll be four in August and I’ve turned into a really good dog. A rather large dog but with the shortest of legs and way longer ears than my mom. Everyone I meet says I look like a basset hound so I figured I’d ask the experts, I definitely howl at times lol do I belong? 😂
