Potty Training

Our basset was born in March. We brought him home at the beginning of May. We have worked tirelessly on potty training but there doesn’t seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. We will go outside on a leash after play, nap (in crate), meal times and honestly more, but he still decides to pee in the middle of the floor. Any advice? Should we be worried about diabetes possibly because there’s no sound reason I could think of for him to want to pee inside?

Coincidence or manifestation?

My dad found this whilst clearing out my grandma’s garage. She must have picked it up years ago in a car boot sale – it’s almost like she knew it’d come in handy one day.

It even has a faint resemblance to my Moomin! Safe to say it has a new home with me 😊

P.S my family haven’t previously had an interest in Bassets until I got one, which has me convinced my grandma was predicting my future back when she got it some 20/30 years ago

Question about basset butts

So I’m a bit of a hypochondriac so I’m sorry if I’m being completely insane. But I’ve noticed these bulges under both my boys butts, they may have always been there I’ve never really looked at there butts before, but I noticed and now I cannot stop freaking myself out that it’s something terrible. they haven’t paid any attention to there butts like pooping normal no scooting or licking of it. We r going to the vets in a couple weeks just for normal checkup and shots so I will bring it up there, but for the time being I’m just freaking out, so is this abnormal on bassets, or do they just got fat butts?
