He drinks just like sweetie lol (update and story time)

Theo is 8 weeks old now 😭😭 sorry I been quiet, just a lot going on, but here’s a Theo update for everyone! He has no sense of self preservation, last night the tornado sirens were going off while he was outside so I was tasked with going to go get him because he still stumbles as he walks and it was starting to storm really bad so we had to get him back inside and in the basement with everyone else asap. He sees me running towards him and thinks I’m playing a game with him 😭😭 my ankle then decides at that time to act up so I’m chasing after a puppy in the pouring rain with my ankle threatening to give out on me and then I see a tree branch start to break off a tree and I lunge forward and grab him and get hit in the head by a massive branch. Rather it be me than him 100% every time. I make it back into the house, stumbling because I’ve been whacked in the head with a giant branch and Theo isn’t super light anymore, so he’s also getting difficult to carry because he’s always wiggling around when you pick him up now lol. Anyway we get him into the basement with the other dogs and sweetie like howls when she sees him I think she was scared she lost him too. THIS PUPPY IS AN ABSOLUTE HANDFUL AND THOUGHT A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION WAS A GAME. THEO OMG. I wouldn’t trade him for the world, my concussion like symptoms will be worth it every single time for this little rascal. Anyone else have a basset with no sense of self preservation??
