Has anyone’s basset ever actually caught a rabbit?

We have a small family of them that live in our backyard and the hunt is on multiple times a day. Our guy is about a year and a half and he’s getting extremely close to catching one. I’m not sure what he’ll actually do, if instincts will kick in, or if he maybe never will catch one and will only get close? Lol
