Experience with chewed ear
My first basset!
She’s two months old & the people we got her from said the mom chewed off her ear when she was cleaning her after giving birth. Does anyone have experience with this? Will it continue to grow but just be different? We go to the vet Friday but I was wondering if there was just somebody with experience.
I obviously could care less about how it looks cosmetically, she’s so sweet and I cannot wait to see her grow.

Housetraining Help?
I have the absolute sweetest girl named Banquet. She’s 4 months old. I got her at just about the 3 month mark and I didnt really know what i was doing for that first month. We used pee pads, she went everywhere, it was a disaster. I couldnt live like that.
Now I’m following advice from a trainer and have set up her crate in a room with a playpen. Her crate is for when I can’t supervise, the playpen is for when i can kinda keep an eye out and the room at large is fully supervised only. As she gets better about accidents and going outside, her unsupervised area is supposed to get bigger.
Problem is, she’s still peeing in her crate often enough that I had to get a second crate pad to rotate and last night she slept in a bare crate bc both her crate pads were wet with enzyme cleaner. And she is having both kinds of accidents in her playpen. Admittedly #2s are less often.
Based on her accidents i cant expand her area, but im starting to get the feeling she’s just pissed (no pun intended) at being confined.
I take her outside often (sometimes multiple times an hour, but maximum duration is 2 hours while she’s awake. 5 hours while she’s sleeping overnight).
Any hints, tips, tricks, behavior analysis is welcome.
Pics bc she’s beautiful:
