Does anyone else’s basset give you high fives after or while petting them??

So I keep in touch with the woman who bred my youngest Basset, Luna. We happened to come across the point of how she howls like her dad and the breeder told me her dad was feeling sick and that he was taking him to the vet. I reach back out the other day to see how he was doing and she told me he had a brain tumor and had to be put down.

I started crying because I felt so bad for her as he was her personal dog along Luna’s mama and I was planning on having Luna meet her parents soon. I was also crying because I started getting really worried that it might happen to Luna as well. Her dad was only 4.5 years old and Luna is almost 2.

Should I have any reason to worry that she might develop a brain tumor because of what happened to her dad?
