I picked up this guy the day after I left the military, the best decision I’ve ever made

Normally the pup has to coex Quincy Jones into playing. Today as soon as we hit the dog park they were both off to the races 😂

Martha broke boundaries. I came upon her. That little black box on her neck does nothing to keep her from the next smell. “Please see me as innocent. I can’t help it, I’m born a Basshole.” Yes, I do see you.

We did our own turkey trot today, and I wore my basset hound “Nope” hoodie because I had a feeling that I’d see a few basset hound flops on our 9 mile walk. And I was right! This happened about 7 miles in (shocked we made it that far). We stopped for 10 minutes and then finished our loop.

I was very proud of Clementine! That’s a long way for a basset & we had about 800 fr of elevation to tackle too. Those short legs were working!

I’ve got a Bassethound mix (with a massive attitude problem 😂) and he’s a mixed breed. Any ideas what he may be mixed with? Personally I think he’s got some pitbull in him, maybe a little collie? I’ve thought about doing a DNA test but haven’t yet. Any good ideas for DNA tests that are reliable as well?
