Hi everyone!! I would like any and all food recommendations for my 6 month old male basset 😊 He’s currently on the puppy pedigree but i feel like i want to get him on a more high quality kibble & add some kind of food topper but im a little lost because they’re so many different brands !

Hey, just seeing if anyone has ran into this problem with their Bassets. She has been limping mildly the past 2 days and I checked her paw, there’s nothing in there, nor any cuts from what I can see. I moved her leg, pressed her paw, and folded her paw and she had no reaction to all of those. She has also not been licking her paw or whining or seeming in pain at all. I talked to the vet when I first started seeing her limp 2 days ago. They said not to worry about it, but maybe do a cold compress. I have been doing the cold compress a couple times a day since for 5-10 minutes and it doesn’t seem to be helping. This morning she was limping a lot more noticeably now and I called our vet and a couple other clinics and neither of them could get her in today or tomorrow. There is one I could get into on Thursday for a full day stay. I am not really wanting to take her to the emergency vet unless I have to. She is also 8 months old.
