My dog ate like half a bottle of mometamax that we are doing for an ear infection. I finally got a hold of our vet, and they told me to call dog poison control to find out if inducing vomiting is necessary and then they could do that for us. There are many dog poison control lines, and most of them charge between $80-$100. i do not understand why a vet could not tell me the appropriate course of action for ingesting an ointment orally that THEY prescribed? She seems perfectly fine 2 hours later, eating and drinking, her normal self. has anyone had this happen?
