She is my first basset hound! Are their legs supposed to look like this?

I know bassets are stubborn and have heard people say their hard to potty train compared to other puppies. I was just curious what the average age is for a fully potty trained basset hound. My baby is almost six months his name is Gibbs. We started him with bells by the door since he came home and he learned how to use them quick! Since the beginning we did potty breaks after everything eating, sleeping, playing probably every 30ish mins. To be honest we’re still doing this schedule but more like every hr to avoid accidents…we’re just not there quite yet. He doesn’t get food or water freely throughout the day so I can take him right out after eating or drinking. He’s sooo smart and I know we’ll get it down soon I’m just curious when other peoples puppies were fully potty trained!
