I have a 10 month old female basset hound who doesn’t howl. Not that I’m in a rush for that lol but I see tiny puppies howling online. She is pretty vocal; like she’ll bark and make hrrmmpphh noises. She’s also the only dog we have, and I’m wondering if that could also be why she hasn’t howled. I included a clip of her usual noises she likes to make lol

1 year old basset. I got him from a friend because they couldn’t care for him. Said he was potty trained, etc. well he isn’t. I have 3 large dogs and thought “ok if he’s trained I can mentally take him on”

He pees on all of my children’s stuff, on our beds, the floor, the trampoline (mini one the kids play on) and I’m sick of it. If I can’t get it under control I can’t keep him. This was his last chance before going back to the breeder and I feel so let down and lied to. Because how is he potty trained exactly?

My dogs are outside 85% of the day and if he comes in he immediately finds somewhere to pee or he hides and pees and I can’t find it for DAYS so I’m smelling pee constantly.

He can’t be inside with out constant supervision so he’s in the kennel if he comes in the house.

Is he better off going back to the breeder and finding a home or staying with her? She’s incredible and said she would take him back if needed (because The OG owner told her I have him now)
