Baby Brucey Goosey had a great Mommy & Brucey day! We started with a bath (mommy is so mean), then we were for a turkey sandwich, toy shopping, and saw some suspicious birdies. Finished the day off with a snack and a nap. ☺️

My 3 yr old female goes through a picky eating stage. She will sample the food that I’ve put out for her and then just turn and walk away. I give her 1 cup of dry food mixed with about 1/4c of wet canned food and 1 1/2 pumps of fish oil for her breakfast and supper, unless she didn’t eat her breakfast then I mix a little more can food.

Does anyone one else’s pupper go through this? By the way, she is my 2nd basset to have, but my 1st one never did this.

One of my babies ear has been itchy, flaky, and yeasty smelling for a few weeks now. It doesn’t seem to hurt him, but it hasn’t been easy to get rid of. My initial thought was hot spot due to it developing after a long and hot weekend at the lake. Has anyone experienced something similar with their basset, and how did you treat it? TIA!

My basset hound is very grumpy but she knows how to be patient when necessary 🥰

Cannoli was hungry before I let him outside… then he tried to chase and eat a resident squirrel and he got yelled at and was made to go back inside.

Now he won’t eat his breakfast, won’t acknowledge me at all when I talk to him, won’t move from this spot, and is acting like if he ignores me I’ll go away.

Show me your sulking and angry bassets and tell me why they’re mad at you, you useless human who never does anything right! 😂
