Hey everyone! I’m new to this thread. My husband and I had a basset hound at the beginning of our marriage, which was 40 years ago now. We got her from a breeder who was selling her because she was not good in the show ring (if you can imagine that😆). She was beautiful, but the most stubborn dog we have ever ever had. Since then, we haven’t had any bassets and I’ve always wanted to get another. We had adopted her when she was a young adult. Now we are about to go pick up our first Bassett puppy!
