Our two bassets, Hazel and BiBi, were waiting for my husband to get home so the weekend could start. BiBi kept our senior citizen Mastiff mix, Max (13 years or so), company on his bed and Hazel watched the driveway from her window perch. They live for the weekends. So do we actually. (Max has struggled recently and it’s been hard, so our other dogs do not leave his side).
