Advice from people with young kids/ toys

We have an 8mo basset (pic attached) and she does really well with my nieces (3 years old and 5mo.). However, we can’t seem to kick her wanting to eat all the babies toys. I totally get the confusion – they look like her toys and they probably smell like baby juices which are appealing to her lol.

My question is if anyone’s dealt with this before is if there was a thing that works for you that showed her those aren’t her toys? We’ve tried distracting with her own dog toys (which she has plenty of), rewarding her for not paying attention to them, etc. Sometimes I think she purposely goes for the baby toys so she can get a treat when she ‘leaves it’.

The 2 different toy baskets are separated on different sides of the room, so we have a baby side and a dog side.

Any advice is appreciated! To clarify we don’t live with my sister, but I’m over there every Friday and my sister will watch her when I’m out of town.
