advice needed

hi everyone! long story short, my brother adopted a basset puppy last summer. we had a basset growing up who passed a few years ago, so we aren’t new to their stubbornness and quirks. but this one? i’m convinced that she is a demon spawn sent to torment my parents and i.

my family has two other dogs. one boxer/coonhound mix (Rio) and one bluetick coonhound (Brandy). the basset, Georgia, LOVES to chew on Brandy, specifically her ears, to the point where her ears are dripping basset drool. Brandy is an extremely docile dog and Too tolerant of Georgia so she will just…. let her do this. I’ve gotten gnawed on with those teeth, so i’m sure that it must hurt for her!!! I separate them whenever I notice it, we’ve sprayed bitter apple on Brandy’s ears, used a spray bottle on Georgia, and nothing seems to work.

Has anybody else had experiences with something like this? i feel so bad for my Brandy. she’s a very smart girl so she does snap when she’s had enough, i just want to help her.
