Does anyone else’s basset just lay with their nose out of the dog door?

My yard is completely fenced in and she had free rein to come & go as she wants. Sometimes she will just lay in front of the door with her nose sticking out and her chin resting on the bottom for a long time. Does anyone else’s do this?
