First time Basset owner

Hey everybody,

I am picking up my first basset hound on Monday. He is an eight week year-old male and I am super excited. I’ve been a dog owner in the past but different breeds and I understand basset are more unique.

I’m just reaching out to see if anyone has any advice and tips.
