New owner advice

Hey guys, so I got a basset hound puppy. Not even 3 months old. Any tips or advice for a new doggy owner? Had dogs in the family but never owned my own. So I’m very fresh to this. Any info helps honestly. This is also my first ever Reddit post. 👀👀

Needing advice and support

We recently had our pup assisted over the rainbow bridge and I’m impatiently waiting his DNA results but I’m fairly confident he was mixed mainly with basset..

My question is what are some good resources and rescues on the east coast/great lakes region for adopting (NY, PA, OH, WV, VA, MA, etc)?! I’m really leaving towards this breed!

Also if you wouldn’t mind sharing your pups pics and a little bit about why they’re so great and their quirks? The house is so quiet and our toddler is so lost without his best pal.

I told Cannoli I needed to go upstairs to take a bath…

Had a long, bad day at work. Came home, took my insulin, ate dinner with the family, and snuggled with Cannoli on his bed for a few minutes…

Then I started walking upstairs and told him I needed to go take a bath. Turn around to find him looking at me like this.

Could he make me feel anymore guilty??? 😭
