Basset Hounds for You

How do I get my just under 1 year old basset to eat her biscuits she refuses to eat them everything else she’ll eat, sometimes she’ll eat them outta my hand and I’ve tried like 3 different dog foods, I try putting water in it and it use to work, she loves them with milk but don’t want her in the habit of that, and sometimes she’ll starve herself until she’s fed something else that’s not her biccys, second problem is her digging up the garden I get they do that when they’re bored but there’s only so much I can do when I’m working so would like a couple suggestions please and thank you !!

Hey everyone, what kind of bed do your sun loving bassets like to lounge in outside?

It’s finally nice outside here (above 60⁰ today!) and Brucey is loving our deck. I’m looking on Amazon, but most of them are 8 or 9in tall – that seems a little high for our stubby dudes.

I need help, our sweet, nearly one year old Bassett has suddenly started growling at us when we try to take something from her. Not only that, but my husband (whom she loves dearly), just leaned over to pet her as she was lying on the couch and she lifted her head and growled at him.

Up to this point she has been out sweet, loving girl. Anyone else see this change in their Bassett at any point and what did you do to change this new behavior?
