We recently (4 days ago) got our very first basset after losing our family dog of 7 years. When we picked him up and brought him home, he was already pooping small rocks. He now has an obstruction and has had xrays to confirm that yes, he has a large rock in his intestines. We contacted the breeder we got him from, but all they said was “that’s weird”. No hoping for him to get better, nothing about what they could do to help. I’m looking for advice, AITA to blame them and want them to pay for his vet bills?? And would I be a bigger asshole to blast them on FB??
