Pee inside remedy

One more question (just posted another a min ago) –

Looking for recommendations on how to clear up the smell of basset pee on a rug, that also encourages the pup not to go there again (he’s gone in the exact same spot three nights this week).

I’ve used natures best advanced stain and odor eliminator spray (the red bottle) and vinegar and also baking soda, let it soak for a whole day etc etc but not sure if anyone else has a better product, process or recommendation in general.
